The Institute for Analysis continuously invites applications for doctoral and postdoctoral positions. Please see the instructions, below, for details.

Postdoctarial Positions

Applicants are required to hold a PhD in Mathematics or Physics (at least by the time they start work). In order to apply for a postdoctoral position, please send an email to sekretariat-b@math.uni-hannover.de which includes

  • CV, List of Publications, Description of Intended Research and Copies of PhD/MSc/BSc Documents, all compiled into a single pdf document
  • The Excel sheet you can download here with your data.

In addition, please arrange for two letters of recommendation to be sent by email to sekretariat-b@math.uni-hannover.de.
Postdoctoral positions are usually paid according to salary group E13TV-L.

PhD Positions

Applicants are required to hold a Master's degree in Mathematics or Physics with above average success in the course of their studies (at least by the time they start work). In order to apply for a PhD position, please send an email to sekretariat-b@math.uni-hannover.de which includes

  • CV, Description of Intended Research and Copies of MSc/BSc Documents, (possibly) a List of Publications, all compiled into a single pdf document
  • The Excel sheet you can download here with your data.

In addition, please arrange for two letters of recommendation to be sent by email to sekretariat-b@math.uni-hannover.de.
PhD positions are usually paid 75% of salary group E13TV-L.
